• The battery is discharged.
• Make sure that you have fully depressed both the safety
lock and start switch completely.
• Lubricate the blades and sharpen them if necessary.
• The hedge trimmer runs sluggishly. Lubricate the cutter
bar and blades.
• The battery is not fully charged.
• The battery needs replacing.
• The battery is not correctly inserted into the charger.
• The battery or charger contacts are dirty.
• The battery needs replacing.
• The mains lead is not securely plugged into the wall socket.
• Check to see if there is power at the wall socket.
• The charger or its cable is damaged.
