The data link between the extension modules and the heat pump
manager is connected via the same X11 plug connection as the
power supply. The plug must be inserted into the designated
4.2.3 Further wiring important for functionality
Remove the copper bridge from the heat pump manager before
connecting the green and yellow coloured terminals X3/3 and X3/
4 to terminals X3/3 and X3/4 on the heat pump manager, accord-
ing to the connection diagram.
Immersion sleeves are provided at the collector sensor (PT1000)
and the solar cylinder sensor (NTC10) connection points. Before
the sensors are inserted into the immersion sleeve, it must be
coated with a thin layer of heat transfer compound.
The sensor cables can be extended up to a length of 100 m. The
following cable cross-sections can be used:
0.75 mm² up to 50 m length
1.5 mm² up to 100 m length
The solar module is attached to the wall with the 3 screws and
dowels (6 mm) included in the scope of supply in such a way that
protection from accidental contact is ensured. The solar module
must be mounted flush with the right side of the heat pump man-
ager (casing clearance < 0.5 cm). The following installation pro-
cedure must be followed to avoid soiling or damaging the control-
ler:
Mount the dowels for the upper fastening eyelet at operator
level.
Screw the screw into the dowel so that the controller can be
hung onto it.
Mount the controller by the upper fastening eyelet.
Mark the position of the side fastening eyelets.
Unhook the controller.
Mount the dowels for the side fastening eyelets.
Remount the controller at the top and tighten the screws.

nated socket (X11) on the heat pump manager.
socket (X11) on the heat pump manager. Extension module
N17.4 is assigned address 4. The address is already preset on
the extension module's DIP switches.
