Construction features

Shoe:
The upper is made of breathable nylon mesh that can be stretched and adjusted lengthways and
sideways. The outer sole is made of polyurethane with a shock absorbing effect. The sole profile
facilitates the rolling off movement. The base of the shoe is reinforced throughout. Other features
include the wide opening, individually adjustable fastener, a removable sole as well as weatherproof
durable material on the shank and sole.
Orthosis:
The Relief Insert® Walker consists of a hard shell portion (orthosis). The walker is characterised by a
rigid footplate for pes equinus prophylaxis and lateral guide rails for the medial and lateral stabilisa-
tion of the foot and lower leg region. The upper part of the hard shell part is attached with three
Velcro fasteners which can be closed individually for the ventral and dorsal support function.
The fourth strap ensures that the foot is positioned on the footplate as desired in the midfoot and
forefoot region. A soft foam cushion with circular closure ensures even pressure distribution for
the entire midfoot and lower leg region.
Insole:
The Relief Contour Insole is constructed with a negative heel of 2.4 degrees in dorsal extension.
This results in mild hind foot pressure and simultaneous forefoot off-loading. The transverse arch as
well as medial and lateral longitudinal arch offer perfect pressure redistribution. Pressure peaks are
reduced by the long-soled, continuous soft foot bed.

Cleaning instructions

> Hand wash: shoe, orthosis, inlay and inner liner
> If the shoe is slightly soiled, you can wipe it with a damp cloth or clean it with a soft brush.
> Do not dry the shoe in a dryer or on a radiator. Leave it to dry at room temperature.
> The insole can be cleaned with lukewarm water or with conventional disinfectants.
Do not dry the sole on a heating unit; instead allow it to dry at room temperature.
