Setting up the device safely

• If the headphones have been brought from a cold to a warm
room, wait a while before connecting them. Condensation can
develop which could damage the device. The device can be
operated safely as soon as it reaches room temperature.
• Set up and operate all components on a stable, level and vibra-
tion-free surface to prevent the device from falling down.
• Do not expose the headphones to direct heat sources (e.g.
heaters) that could affect them.
• Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
• Contact with moisture, water and splashes must be avoided.
• The device is not suitable for use in rooms that are very humid
(e.g. bathrooms).
• Do not use the headphones close to other electrical equip-
ment (e.g. a television or microwave oven).
• Do not store the headphones close to any open flames (e.g.
burning candles).
• Position the cable so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped
over.
• To avoid damaging the cable, do not place any objects on it.
