• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are supervised.
• This appliance is not intended to be immersed in water during
cleaning. Please observe the instructions that we have included
for you in the chapter "Maintenance and care".

Assembly / disassembly of attachments
WARNING: Risk of burns!
• Do not change attachments when the appliance is
heating up or already hot.
• If you want to change an attachment directly after use,
let the appliance cool down first!
• Only touch the handle and the turn-lock fastener.
• Hold the attachments of the curling tongs and round
brushes at their upper ends.
• Hold the attachment of the hair straightener on the
lever only!
Follow the markings on the handle and turn-lock fastener.
Marking of the turn-lock fastener is aligned with the
symbol: lock is open.

1. Turn the turn-lock fastener open.
2. Fit one attachment to the handle as far as it goes. Follow
the notches in the turn-lock fastener and the lugs on the
attachment.
3. Close the turn-lock fastener. The attachment is then
secured.
4. In order to remove the attachment, turn the turn-lock
fastener open and pull off the attachment.
Commissioning
• Remove all packaging material.
• Unwind the mains cable completely.
• Fit one attachment.
Electrical Connection
• Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that
the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device.
You can find this information on the nameplate.
• Connect the appliance to a properly installed earthed
socket.
Switch-on
Set the switch to "|" position. The indicator lamp lights up.
NOTE:
• Heating up takes approx. 5 - 6 minutes.
• During the first few heating operations a slight odor
might occur. That is normal and will quickly dissipate.
Use
WARNING:
• Use the appliance for dry hair only.
• Do not touch your scalp with the hot attachments of
the curling tongs or hair straightener.
CAUTION:
• Use the appliance for natural hair only. It is not suitable
for artificial hairpieces or wigs due to the high tempera-
ture.
• Never use the appliance together with styling products
such as mousse, hair spray or gel.
TIPS:
• We recommend applying heat protection spray to your
hair before using this appliance.
• Work your hair strand by strand.
• Create strong curls by using the curling tongs on small
hair strands (approx. 2 cm). For slightly waved hair, work
on thicker strands (4 to 6 cm) or use the small round
brush.
Preparation
• Select an attachment depending on your styling pur-
poses and fit it to the appliance.
