C GETTING STARTED
• Before the unit can be used for the first time, pull out the plastic marked with
an arrow from the bottom of the unit. The plastic tab is only for shipping and
can be discarded.
, CHARGING YOUR APPLIANCE
• Before using your hair clipper for the first time, charge for 90 minutes.
• Ensure the product is switched off.
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains. The
display will indicate the unit is charging by showing a blinking battery icon.
• If the product is not going to be used for an extended period of time (2-3
months), unplug it from the mains and store.
• Fully recharge your appliance when you would like to use it again.
• To preserve the life of your batteries, let them run out every 6 months then
recharge for 90 minutes.
, CHARGING VIA STANDARD ELECTRICAL SOCKET
• Ensure the product is switched off.
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product and then to the mains.
• When charging the digital display will indicate the unit is charging.
• Allow 90 minutes for a complete charge.
• This appliance should be charged by approved safety isolating adaptors
PA-0510E (for EU version) or PA-0510U (for UK version) with the output
capacity of 5.0V dc; 1A;
, USB
• Connect your USB cable to the USB port on your power source.
• Connect the USB cable to your appliance.
• Do not run the clipper while connected to a USB port. It will only run off its
batteries in this condition and stop charging.
, CORDED USE
• Connect the charging adaptor to the product then to the mains.
• The unit will only run in corded mode when connected to the mains using the
supplied Remington power adaptor, other USB chargers will only charge the
unit.
, CAUTION
• Extended mains only use will result in the reduction of the battery life.
