HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WHILE THE IRON IS BEING USED
If you need to fill the boiler during the ironing session, the following operations should be carried out:
• Turn off the iron. Press switch (7) Fig. C to position "OFF".
• Unplug it from the electric outlet.
• Discharge the internal steam pressure by pressing the steam button all the way down (4).
• Unscrew the boiler's safety cap (1). For this purpose you can use the specially provided cap un-
screwer accessory (3) that aids gripping the cap and protects against accidental burns.
• Turn the iron upside-down to empty out all of the water still inside the boiler (Fig. F).
WARNING!
Danger of burns. The remaining water in the boiler is very hot.
• Remember that the amount of water to put inside the iron during use must never exceed the 300ml
indicated on the measure.
• Screw the safety cap on tightly.
• Insert the plug into the outlet. Turn on the iron. Press switch (7) to "ON" (Fig C).
• The steam will be ready shortly.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• Before cleaning the iron, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has completely
cooled down.
• Do not use abrasives for cleaning the soleplate.
• Any deposits and other residue on the soleplate can be removed using a cloth soaked in a water
and vinegar solution.
• Try and keep the soleplate smooth: avoid contact with metal objects.
• If dripping or a slight leakage of steam is noticed after a certain amount of time, the appliance
should be decalcified with a normal decalcifying product available on the market (a decalcifying
product used for espresso coffee machines is recommended).
WARNING!
Decalcify when the appliance is completely cooled down. Do not use aggressive decal
cifying products such as vinegar extracts and the like.

AFTER IRONING

• Turn off the iron. Press switch (7) Fig C to position "OFF".
• unplug it from the electric outlet.
• Let out all the residual steam by fully pressing push button (4).
• Let the iron cool down.
• Unscrew the safety cap (1) using the specially provided cap unscrewer (3). Turn the iron upsi-
de-down to empty out all of the water still inside the boiler (Fig. F).
WARNING!
Danger of burns. The remaining water in the boiler is very hot.
• This allows to always keep the boiler tank well clean.
• Fill the boiler with water (about 100 ml).
• Shake the appliance vigorously.
• Turn the iron upside-down to empty out all of the water still inside the boiler (Fig. F). In this way
deposits will not form inside the boiler.
• Leave the safety cap open when storing the iron (1).
IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE TAP WATER WITH ANY DEGREE OF HARDNESS, BETTER
YET IF IT HAS BEEN BOILED.
