Malfunctions
Motor does not start
Causes:
No mains voltage
Pump wheel blocked –
temperature monitor switched device off
Pump is not sucking in
Causes:
Suction valve not submerged in water
Pump chamber without water
Air in the suction line
Suction valve untight
Suction basket (suction valve) clogged
Max. suction height exceeded
Insufficient transport volume
Causes:
Excess suction height
Suction basket dirty
Water level drops rapidly
Pump output reduced
by foreign matter
Temperature switch switches pump off
Causes:
Motor overloaded – excess friction
through foreign matter
Attention! The pump may not run dry.

Remedy:
Check voltage
Take pump apart and clean
Remedy:
Submerge suction valve in water
Fill water into suction connection
Check tightness of suction line
Clean suction valve
Clean suction basket
Check suction height
Remedy:
Check suction height
Clean suction basket
Place suction valve in a lower position
Clean pump and
replace wear and tear part
Remedy:
Take pump apart and clean
Prevent sucking in foreign
matter (filter)
