Error causes and their correction.
The device is designed for industrial requirements. In the event of an error occurring in the
system, only in the most exceptional circumstances will the cause of the error lie with the
control unit itself.
Depending on the configuration and version of the control unit, the following errors are
recognised:

Measuring principle:
The measuring principle is based on the
different dielectric constants of water and air.
This effect leads to a corresponding change in
capacity between the strands of the measuring
cable proportional to the column of water.
The signal is then fed into a microprocessor
for the purposes of further processing and
evaluation. The control unit is designed for
the standardised measuring range of 4 mA to
20 mA.
Other measuring methods (e.g. pressure
measuring) instead of capacity measuring are
also possible with this device.
Subject to changes in the sense of further technical development.
