INTRODUCTION

This convenient hand-held stick blender is ideally suited for blending and grinding food.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read this user manual thoroughly before use.
2. If you give the device to a third party you must include this user manual.
3. This device complies with the technical standards and applicable safety requirements for
electrical devices.
4. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damages due to improper use or failure to follow
this user manual.
5. Before first use, verify that the type of power and supply voltage correspond with the data on
the rating plate.
6. A residual current circuit breaker with a residual operating current not exceeding 30 mA in
the house circuit offers additional protection. Consult an electrician for information on the
device and installation.
7. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or by those with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
8. Do not submerge the motor unit in water. Risk of electric shock!
9. Caution! Do not use this device in the vicinity of bathtubs, showers, sinks or other
containers filled with water. Operating the device in the vicinity of water poses a
hazard even when the device is turned on but still plugged in.
10. Use the device only with the original accessories.
11. Use the device indoors only.
12. Do not use the device if it is damaged. To prevent risks, defective components may be
replaced only by the manufacturer, its customer service or similarly qualified persons.
13. Never attempt to repair the device yourself. Repairs may be carried out only by qualified
professionals.
14. Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not insert any objects into the
housing interior.
15. Use the device only for its intended purpose and only for processing food.
16. Risk of electric shock! Do not operate the device with moist hands or while standing on a
wet surface. Never touch the power plug with wet or moist hands.
17. Check the power cable regularly. If the device's power cable is damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, customer service or a similarly qualified person to prevent risks.
18. Prevent damage to the power cable through squashing, bending or scuffing on sharp edges.
Keep it away from hot surfaces and open flames.
19. Do not unplug the device by tugging on the cord and do not wrap the power cable around the
device.
20. Do not leave the device unattended while it is in use or connected to the power supply.
21. Caution! The device is current-carrying as long as it is plugged in.
