8. TEST
1. Test for combustible gas: once the detector finishes the
warm-up, use an un-ignition lighter to emit some gas
around the device within the distance of 5 cm to the gas
convection holes. The detector will give out sound alarm,
and the combustible gas indicator will present red flash.
It will stop alarm and resume to the detecting state while
the gas density reduced to lower than the alarm level. Do
not perform tests too often, as it may result in reducing
the sensitivity of the detector.
2. Test for carbon monoxide: When the detector goes into
normal detecting status, press the „CO test button", it will
give out sound alarm, and the CO indicator will present
red flash.
9. EMERGENCY ALARM TREATMENT
The detector alarms while the gas density in air exceed the
alarm level. In such case, follow the instructions below:
1. Shut off the tube valve right away.
2. Open the window and ventilate the room.
3. Extinguish all fire sources. Do not use anything that can
start fire, e.g. lighters, matches, etc.
4. Do not open/close the power of all kinds of electric
equipment.
5. Check the source of gas leakage, and notify the relative
departments and professionals in time.
6. If the alarm was false, please check whether the
installation position of the device is proper.
