Regulatory model identification number
For regulatory identification purposes, your product is assigned a Regulatory model number. The
Regulatory model number for your product is FCLSD-0703. This Regulatory model number should not be
confused with the Product name (HP Photosmart R837 Digital Camera) or Product numbers (L2466A,
L2467A, L2468A, L2469A, L2470A, L2471A).
Safety precautions
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not open the camera case or attempt to repair the camera
yourself. Contact an authorized HP Service Center for repairs.
• Keep the camera dry. Exposing the camera to excessive moisture can cause it to malfunction.
• If moisture gets inside the camera, stop using the camera immediately. Allow the camera to air dry
completely before operating it again.
• When disposing of batteries, follow the battery manufacturer's disposal and recycling instructions or
the guidelines that are recommended for your area, do not incinerate or puncture batteries.
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Your camera uses a rechargeable HP Photosmart R07 Lithium Ion battery (L1812A/L1812B), do not
charge any other battery than the HP Photosmart Lithium Ion R07 battery in the camera, dock or quick
recharger.
• Use only the power adapters, USB cables, or camera docks approved by HP for your camera. Use of a
non-approved power adapter, USB cable, or camera dock could damage the camera or cause an
unsafe condition. It will also void your camera's warranty.
Caution: Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according
to the instructions.
