CONTROLS / OPERATION

Fold out or pull the grab handle to move or position the fan.
▪
Just pull the release valve / release bolt
and fold out or pull the handle until it snaps into place.

The fan unit will then lift out of the chassis and swivel into the initial attack
position (not valid for FANERGY E16 COMPACT).
▪
To start devices with a combustion engine, crank the pull starter. Read and
observe the engine manufacturer's operation manual. To start devices with
electric motors, connect the power supply and switch the device on using
the on/off switch. Observe the safety instructions regardless of the motor
type!

Pull slowly the manual pull starter. Listen for any potential contact noise
between the fan impeller and housing. If you hear contact noise, do not
operate the device!

Only start the engine if the fan is in a stable and secure position.
▪
If the fan is on a level surface and the engine is running at full speed, the
device should not move from its position.
▪
If the fan moves, the feet should be checked for damage and replaced if
necessary. If this does not solve the problem, please contact the responsible
Rosenbauer sales partner.
▪
When using under abnormal conditions and on uneven surfaces, or if stability
is poor or a water spray unit with high pressures is being used in conjunction
with the device, please use the integrated stabilizer for improved stability.
▪
Stop the fan immediately if mechanical noises, vibrations or other unusual
conditions arise.
▪ Press the red button
or using the fan. The fan unit will move up into the parked position (not valid
for FANERGY E16 COMPACT) and after pulling the release valve / release bolt
, the handle unit can be retracted until it snaps into place.
