Please read the instructions carefully before initial use. Pay particular attention to the
safety warnings. A failure to follow these could lead to serious damage and/or injury.
This leaflet must be retained for future reference. If you decide to sell the device, please
hand this leaflet to the new owner.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

 Only use the device outdoors, in a well-ventilated area; the exhaust gases are toxic!
 Fuel is extremely flammable. Always turn the engine off before topping up the fuel!¬
Only use petroil lubrication: 50 parts unleaded petrol to 1 part oil. Keep petrol, paraffin,
matches and other flammable materials/substances away from the device!
 Do not smoke when topping up the fuel!
 Try to avoid spillages when topping up the fuel! Spilt fuel must be cleaned up
immediately with a clean cloth.
 This generator is not waterproof. To prevent short-circuits or electric shocks, do not use
in wet conditions (rain/snow/mist).
 Do not touch the generator with wet hands and prevent the device getting wet.
 Keep the generator at least one metre from explosive and flammable substances and
objects.
 The generator must be earthed at all times; to this end, attach a conductive wire
between the earthing point on the generator and an approved earthing pin.
 Never connect the generator to the mains network or to another generator.
