USE OF COTTON FILTER BAG
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION:
Turn the device off and pull the power plug before you
clean the device, remove or exchange the dust bag or the
dust hose or replace any accessories.
CARE OF VACUUM CLEANER
• When necessary, wipe the device casing with a
damp cloth. If the device is very soiled, a mild
cleaning agent may be used.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners or sponges or
aggressive cleaning agents, which might damage the
casing surface.
• Never use gasoline or oil-based cleaning agents, as
these might damage the casing surface.
• To guarantee the safety of the device during
operation, the dust filter of the device must be
regularly replaced/cleaned. Please check this
regularly by observing the level indicator on the lid
of the dust compartment.
REPLACING THE DUST FILTER BAG
ATTENTION:
Please exclusively use filters of the right size, suitable
for this device (see technical specifications).
• Open the dust compartment by disengaging the lock.
To do so, press the button between the suction
opening and the carry handle. This will now allow
you to fold up the lid to the dust compartment.
• Subsequently, carefully extract the dust filter bag
from the container.
• Slide the new dust filter bag into place (bag inserted
face down).
• Check the correct position of the filter bag, close the
cover of the dustbin (you will hear a clicking sound).

USE OF A COTTON DUST FILTER BAG
• Filter bags made of cotton may be used instead of
paper bags. They must be emptied and cleaned
regularly. z
• Remove the cotton filter bag and empty it into your
household waste bin.
• The cotton dust bag should be regularly washed with
lukewarm water (max. 30°C, handwashing
temperature), especiall y when particularly dirty, and
if need be, with the addition of a mild detergent.
When doing so, please also note the advice of the
cotton dust bag manufacturer.
• After cleaning, pull the filter bag into shape and
allow it to dry thoroughly.
• Insert the filter bag into the dustbin only after it is
completely dry.
• Make sure that the latch of the bag is completely
closed prior to re-inserting the bag.
• The same rules apply for removing and inserting a
cotton filter bag as for a paper filter bag.
