USING FOR THE FIRST TIME / ASSEMBLY /
USE OF ACCESSORIES
ATTENTION:
Prior to assembly or disassembly of accessories,
please turn the device off and pull the power plug.
To connect the vacuum hose, insert the connection
nozzle into the vacuum opening of the device.
Please be sure that the connection nozzle snaps into
place.
To remove the vacuum hose, push down on the
ribbed notches on the connection nozzle and pull the
vacuum hose out of the vacuum opening.
Connect the vacuum tube to the end of the curved
handhold of the vacuum hose.
The length of the telescopic pipe can be variably
adjusted by using the locking handle at the end of
the pipe. Sliding the handle up and down will
disengage the lock and allow the pipe to be
extended or shortened as required. Be careful to
ensure that the pipe is secured at the newly adjusted
length.
The device is supplied with a range of different
nozzle attachments (crevice nozzle, brush nozzle
and floor nozzle). As required, these can be
switched by simply pulling or attaching to the end of
the suction hose.
For the storage of the crevice and brush nozzles, a
special compartment is incorporated on the upper
side of the device, with a lid. To remove the
attachments, fold the lid upward and take out the
desired attachment.
The floor attachment can be adjusted to the surface
texture (carpet or smooth surfaces) by using the
adjustment switch.

Check the level indicator of the dust bag. If a red
mark is shown in the inspection window, please
empty the dust bag.
Lock the dustbin correctly.
By using the power controls, you can adjust the
power output of your device.
In addition, the ventilation opening in the suction
hose can also be opened using the slider, if it is
necessary to reduce the suction power still further.
Pull out a sufficient length of power cord. The yellow
mark on the power cord identifies the ideal length of
power cord. Do not exceed the red mark when
pulling the power cord!
Insert the power plug into a power outlet.
The power cord must not be subjected to any form
of strain! To avoid the risk of such during operation,
always promptly unplug the device and reconnect it
to a closer mains socket.
The device can be turned on and off by using the
ON/OFF-Switch.
When starting to vacuum objects, especially those
with delicate materials, e.g. like textiles, always
commence with a low suction power and gradually
increase this as required.
Minor smoke and odour development is possible
during the first operation. This is normal and will not
occur with repeated use of the product.
During operation, both the device and suction hose
can be rolled along to follow the progress of the
user. However, when lifting or carrying the device,
always only use the carry handle that folds upwards.
The device is equipped with a moveable carrying
handle, which enables you to carry the device during
operation.
Always turn the device off by using the ON/OFF-
Switch.
Then pull the power plug out of the power outlet.
For storage, the unit can be placed upright and the
attachment on the telescopic pipe can be suspended
from the support rail included underneath the device
(to do so, the telescopic pipe must be shortened).
Store the device in a dry location.
