Problem
The navigation does not work
even when the power of the
unit is turned on.

l T he SD Memory Card on which the map is recorded has
not been inserted.
Insert the SD Memory Card on which the map is

recorded.
l T he display is not in current position screen.
Select

l T he vehicle location may have been changed while the
power was off. Movement of the vehicle by ferry or car
train, rotation by parking lot turntable, towing, etc.
 Drive for a while on a road with good reception.
l T he GPS signals cannot be received due to obstructions.
 GPS signals will be received when the obstruction
is no longer in the way.
T he GPS antenna (option) is mounted in a wrong
l
position.
 Mount antenna in a position where it can receive
GPS signals easily.
l T he GPS antenna cable is not connected properly.
Check the wiring.

l T here is an error with the magnetic compass.
Calibrate the magnetic compass.

l T he power was turned off immediately after a registered
points were stored or a setting was changed.
Register the points again.

 Change the setting again.
l P ower was turned off immediately after searching for a
route.
Search for the route again.

l A road away from the start location and destination was
specified.
 Add a destination close to the specified road.
l T he volume is set to "0" under Guide Speaker setting.
 Adjust the volume under Guide Speaker.
