• Foods to be grilled can be placed on the grill rack.
• To avoid damages to any surfaces please use only wooden or plastic spatulas for turning or
removing the foods.
• During operation, do not place empty Raclette-pans in the device or on top of the grill rack.
• Pull the power plug out of the power outlet if this device is not in use.
Attention!
Please remember that the grill rack cannot be removed from the device when it is in use! Danger of
burns caused by the heating coil.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Attention:
Always disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and allow the device to cool off completely
prior to cleaning.
• Never submerge the power cord and power plug into water; never use water to clean these parts.
Danger to life by electric shock!
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, steel brushes, abrasive cleaners or any other hard
objects to clean the device or the baking surfaces. They might scratch the surface coating.
• Do not allow food residue to dry out. Clean your device and all accessories as quickly as possible
after each use.
• Raclette-pans and the grill rack can be cleaned in a kitchen sink.
• Carefully dry all accessories after cleaning them.
• The outer surfaces of the device can be cleaned with a damp towel and mild cleaning agent.
Please be sure that no moisture can enter into the device. Use a soft towel to dry the surfaces.
• The power cord and power plug may be cleaned using a dry cloth.
• The heating coil may never be cleaned or wiped.
