USE
Using the appliance

Always place the appliance on a stable, flat, heat, and moisture resistant surface.

Plug the power cable into a working power outlet.

NOTICE
Too little water will cause the appliance to switch off before the water is boiled. Too much water can cause
boiling water to spill out of the spout while operating.
Note: Should you accidentally let the appliance operate without water, the function of boil-dry protection will
automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the appliance to cool prior to filling it with cold water.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the power cable from the power outlet.
2. Clean the appliance with a damp cloth. Never use harsh and abrasive cleaners, scouring pad or steel
wool, which damages the appliance.
3. Remember to clean the filter at intervals. For easier cleaning, detach the filter by pressing down the tab
of filter inside the appliance and then replace it after cleaning.
4. For removing limescale and mineral build-up, use a tested descaler for household appliances. Follow the
instructions on the product.
5. Alternatively, you may follow below instructions using white vinegar.
- Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar, then add water until the bottom of kettle is completely covered.
Leave the solution in the kettle overnight.
- Empty the solution from the kettle. Any stains remaining inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with
a damp cloth, fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then discard the water. Repeat and the kettle
will then be ready to use.
