7. Basic functions
Autotare function
The autotare function must be selected in the setting mode (see separate
description 470.702.126 User mode UCAL 1 pos. 03) and automatically tares the
first weight value on the scale.
Place the additional weight on the platform.
At stability, the weight value is stored in the tare memory.
After discharge, the tare memory is automatically deleted.
Intermediate tare function
An intermediate tare function can be placed on the function key (see Chapter
8.1). Unknown tare values are added to the existing tare value without changing
the net display.

Press the function key to activate the intermediate tare function.
„HOLD" appears in the display.
HOLD NET
Put on additional tare weight or take tare weight off the platform.
The new tare value is accepted with the SEND key.

7.4 Switch off / end operation safely

Press the On/Off key to switch off the scale.
When the scale is unloaded and the weight display is 0, it can be switched off
immediately.
With the scale loaded, press and hold the on/off key for approx. 3 seconds, to
switch off the scale.
