¢ Grüne LED
– blinkt: Modul befindet sich im Programmiermodus
– leuchtet 2 Sekunden: Modul wird mit einer zutreffenden Adresse angesprochen.

leuchtet bis zu 3 Sekunden: Am zuletzt angesprochenen Ausgang ist
a)
beim Schaltverbraucher ein Kurzschluss;
b)
der Schaltverbraucher schwergängig und benötigt zuviel Strom;
c)
der Schaltverbraucher mit höherem Strombedarf ist bereits kurz vorher schon öfter angesprochen
worden.
In diesen Fällen spricht die Kurzschlussüberwachung des Moduls an. Die Ursache des Fehlers muss beho-
ben werden.

This eightfold module can be used to digitally control all conventional dual coil drives of turnouts, relays or
semaphore signals, be it with or without limit stop, and it can also be used for decouplers and light signals.
The responding of the eightfold module is possible via locomotive or turnout adresses.
For the control of the module you can use the following ROCO articles:
multi MAUS 10810: all 8 terminals under turnout addresses and loco address
RouteControl 10772: all 8 terminals under turnout addresses
InterComm 10785: all 8 terminals under turnout addresses
2 (10760/10790/10792): the first 4 terminals under a loco address with the functions F1 – F4

The module is also applicable with all NMRA/DCC digital-systems of other manufacturers (Lenz, Arnold,
Intellibox, ...).
Power supply of the module is by means of the connections J and K – the two outer terminals of the
threefold plug on the narrow side of the module – directly from the socket "Track Out" of the amplifier
10761/10764 or the booster 10762/10765. You may also connect the module to a terminal track.
The maximal switching power of the module is 1.2 amps. All exits are short circuit protected.
Upon overloading, the module will immediately switch off all exits, and a red LED will indicate this
condition.
Dimensions of the module housing: approx. 90 x 90 mm.

The enclosed flat plugs are used to connect turnouts and signals with the eight threefold plugs. The centre terminal
is the common return circuit, the two outer terminals are the switching exits (see circuit diagram). Terminal "+"
corresponds to the position "green" or "straight" respectively, while exit "-" is for the position "red" or "turn off"
respectively. Instead of one double coil drive, you may also connect two decouplers to one terminal.

Motor drives can only be indirectly controlled by the eightfold module, for example by means of a relay
10019, because the eightfold module is unable to reverse polarity.
