RE-signal
Air pressure monitoring, RE-signal S1 and S2
The signal ports, marked S1 and S2, situated in the Motor casing/ Back head are
to be conected to Atlas Copco RE-Controler or other similar monitoring instru-
ment.
Replace the plugs (screws) from the signal ports that are going to be used, with
M5 conectors.
The Atlas Copco RE-Controller can detect:
• Missed fasteners
• Premature tool shut-off
• Stripped threads
• Cross-threading
• Rehits
• Drop in air supply
by converting the air pressure from the signal ports to an electrical signal pro-
cessed in the RE-Controller.
