OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Making a cut

Clamp the workpiece securely in the vise.
2.
Switch on the machine and wait for the motor to
reach its top speed.
3.
Push down the cutting head by the handle (1)
until the cutting wheel (4) makes slight contact with the
workpiece.
4.
Move the cutting wheel (4) smoothly through the
material you want to cut.
5.
Press down the handle (1) firmly and evenly during
the cutting operation.
CAUTION! Do not apply excessive
pressure on the handle (1) when
cutting. Too much pressure may result
in overload of the motor, decreased
cutting efficiency and damage to the
cutting wheel (4). Too little pressure
on the handle (1) may result in more
sparks and premature cutting wheel
(4) wear.
CAUTION! If the cutting wheel (4)
stops during operation, makes an odd
noise or begins to vibrate, switch off
the tool immediately. Then check the
condition of the tool and cutting wheel
(4).
6.
(Full cut) When the cut is completed, switch off the
tool and wait until the cutting wheel (4) has come to a
complete stop before returning the handle (1) to the fully
elevated position. (Partial cut) When cutting only part
of the way into a workpiece, raise the handle (1) while
the cutting wheel (4) is rotating because switching off
during the cut may cause damage to the edge of the
cutting wheel (4).
CAUTION! The cutting wheel
continues to rotate after the machine
is switched off. Never remove or
install a workpiece material while the
cutting wheel (4) is rotating, to avoid
serious personal injury.
WARNING! Do not touch the cutting
wheel (4), workpiece or cutting chips
immediately after operation; they may
be extremely hot and could burn your
skin.
