ADJUSTING THE TUNING
1. Select the desired frequency (FM / AM). You can
do this by sliding the select frequency switch on the
back of the appliance to the desired frequency.
2. Search for the desired radio station within the
selected frequency range by turning the tuning
dial on the front of the appliance. The AM and FM
frequency ranges are displayed on the front of the
appliance around the tuning dial. The marker on
the dial enables you to see what radio station is
currently set.

CLEANING AND CARE

• During cleaning, never submerge the appliance in
water or other fluids. Clean the appliance using a
dry cloth.
• If the appliance is very dirty, the outside can be
cleaned carefully with a damp cloth, and then dried
thoroughly. Please ensure that no liquid can get
inside the appliance via the gaps around the control
switches.
• Do not use any aggressive detergents, alcohol,
steam cleaners, abrasive sand, abrasive pads,
steel brushes or other hard objects to clean the
appliance, as these could scratch the surface.

ADVICE ON DISPOSAL
•Electrical appliances should not be
placed with household trash. It has been
specified by law that old appliances
must be disposed of via public
community collection centres or bulky
waste collection.
•This is the only way to ensure that
old appliances are disposed of
professionally and utilized.
SERVICE / GUARANTEE
The duration of the guarantee lasts 3 years, with effect
from the date of purchase. To prove the date of
purchase, please always retain proof of purchase.
The guarantee applies for units that were purchased in
Germany. It covers defects and malfunctions, which
occur under normal use within the duration of the
guarantee and which are attributable to material or
processing errors.
If covered under guarantee, repairs will be carried out
free of charge.
The guarantee is void in the case of damage, modif
cations or use of the device other than as intended,
since these come outside the area of responsibility
of the guarantor. This applies especially in the foll
wing cases:
• Intervention in the device by unauthorized persons.
• Modifications to or within the device, removing the
serial number or making it indecipherable, removing
or modifying the security seal.
• Damage, which is attributable to impacts, drops or
external actions.
• Damage, which is attributable to improper handling
or misuse.
