INSERTING THE BATTERIES
** Batteries not included**
Loosen the screw of the battery compartment (OPEN)
on the back of the appliance using a suitable
crewdriver Remove the battery compartment cover.
Insert 2 type AAA, 1,5V LR03 batteries into the
battery compartment, making sure that they are the
right way round (check polarity markings "+" and "-").
Replace the cover and use a suitable screwdriver to
tighten the screw by turning in a clockwise direction
(CLOSE).
Battery tips
• Only use the recommended batteries, or batteries of
a similar type.
• Do not use a combination of battery types, or a
mixture of old and new batteries.
• When inserting the batteries, please ensure correct
polarity.

• Remove batteries during long periods of disuse.
• Remove empty batteries from the appliance.
• Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
• Chargeable batteries should only be charged
under adult supervision.
• Do not short circuit the contacts.
• Do not throw batteries into a fire.
USING THE APPLIANCE
TURNING THE RADIO ON / OFF
1. Switch the appliance on by turning the On-Off dial
clockwise. Please note that this dial also controls
the volume of the appliance.
2. Adjust the appliance to the desired volume by
turning the dial. Clockwise increases the volume,
and anti-clockwise reduces the volume.
3. To turn the appliance off, turn the dial anti-
clockwise to the OFF position.
