4. Maintenance and troubleshooting
A regular cleaning and maintenance of the device is necessary to ensure a permanent and regular
operation. In the event of a defect, do not try to repair the unit independently, but consult a repair
service or your dealer.
Before any cleaning or maintenance work, electrical devices must always be disconnected from the
power supply!
4.1. Cleaning and maintenance
Consequential damage resulting from improper or omitted cleaning or maintenance will not
be covered by warranty claims. Always keep the certification in case the device has been
maintained by an authorized company.
4.1.1. Cleaning and Maintenance
Clean the cable
Thoroughly clean the drain cleaner cable with clean water after each use.

Then gently tilt the device forward to remove any residue on the device.
•
After the cable and dried, pull it off the drum.
•
Lubricate it with an oily rag while rolling it back onto the drum.
•
WARNING! Do not try to remove a rotating cable.
Clean housing
The device should also be cleaned with hot soapy water and / or disinfectants if necessary. Be careful,
•
however, that no water gets into the motor on electrical parts.
Clean the device before putting it in its place for storage.
•
Lubricate the machine with machine oil after cleaning.
•
If the drum has been removed or replaced, the bearings must also be lubricated with machine oil.
•
Swap V-belts
Loosen the belt guard button and slide the cover off the top.
•
Use a screwdriver to push the belt off the drum.
•
Slide the new belt into the pulley above the drum.
•
Slide the new strap on the back of the drum until it is tight.
•
Replace the cover in reverse order from item 1.
•
WARNING! Do not operate the drain cleaner without the belt guard.
Fit replacement cable
1. Remove the old cable by pulling out the cable completely and disconnecting it from the cable drum.
2. Connect the new cable to the drum and reinsert the cable.

Store the unit in a dry place with constant temperature storage
