2.2.1. Cutting Tools

Each device has four cutting tools. Select the appropriate tool for the cleaning job and connect it to
the cable. Each is described in the following table.

If the cause of the blockage is unknown, use the Boring Bulb Cutter. Try to identify the cause by using
this tool and then use the appropriate tool.

2.2.2. Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter(GFCI)

Your machine is equipped with a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI), which protects you against
shock if a short circuit should occur. Check that the receptacle is properly grounded and test the GFCI
before each use.
1. Plug the PRCD power plug into a grounded power outlet.
2. Press the TEST button. The PRCD indicator turns off and power to the unit should be cut off.
3. WARNING! If the light does not go off when the test button is pressed, the device should not be used.
4. To restore power after the test, press the reset button. WARNING! If the device does not start, stops
during operation, or suffers a slight impact, do not use the device. Have it repaired or replaced by an
licensed electrician.
