7 MAINTENANCE

Correct machine servicing is necessary with a view to
reliable and safe working.
For maintenance of the LELYMATIC shearpin automats
please be referred to the separate manual.

Maintenance after operations

7.1
- Clean the machine thoroughly.
- Grease the machine with a rust preventive.
- Check the tightness of the tines.
Correct torque: 600 Nm (60 kgm).

Lubrication

7.2
- PTO shaft to be greased every 8 working hours at the
grease nipples on the cross assemblies and protection tubes
(fig. 15).
- Profiled tubes of the PTO shaft to be greased every 8
working hours.
- When operations are completed in wintertime, grease the
protection tubes of the PTO shaft in order to avoid
blockage through freezing.
- Grease or lubricate all remaining pivot points every 40
working hours.
