flammable, explosive and poisonous. Do not use acetone, pure acids
and solvents as they will corrode the materials used in the equipment.
• The surface temperature of the gun/lance depends on the
temperature of the water used. However, it is important that this does
not exceed 70°C. ATTENTION: When the water temperature is close
to the maximum value, precautions must be taken to avoid contact
with hot surfaces.
• During use the gun/lance must be kept at an adequate distance
from the surface being washed and/or from other metal equipment, so
that there is no contact between it and other bodies in order to avoid
rubbing or impact.
• In case of reduced nozzle flow rate or pressure reduction, check
that there is no damage to the equipment, leaks or hindrance and
obstructions.
• A water temperature control device must be installed on the washing
water supply system, upstream of the gun. If a water temperature
above the limit is reached, an automatic pump locking device must
be installed.
• Periodically clean the gun/lance external surfaces to avoid deposits
of dust or dirt.
• Lightning protection measures for the system in which the gun is
installed are necessary. Lightning can cause stray currents that can
spread and reach the equipment.
GUN/LANCE STOP
ATTENTION Danger of damage! If the water contained in the
equipment freezes, it may compromise the correct operation.
In case of long periods of inactivity or if there are no places
protected from frost, it is necessary to empty the water and rinse
the inside of the appliance with antifreeze.
ALWAYS EMPTY WATER FROM IT
ATTENTION: this appliance has been designed to be used
exclusively with water, possibly emulsified with liquid detergents
chosen with chemical compatibility criteria with the components
of the lance and with the surface to be treated (for more
information contact the Technical Office or Customer Service).
• The use of unsuitable chemical products could cause incorrect
operation and/or dangerous situations. IMPORTANT: use only
biodegradable detergents that comply with the regulations in force in
the country of use.
• Periodically check that the pressurized elements do not show any
breakage and/or leakage; the frequency of these checks is determined
by the actual use.
• Maintenance and repairs must be carried out only by qualified and
authorized personnel. Use only original spare parts.
GUN/LANCE DEMOLITION
• In the event of scrapping, do not dispose of the material in the
environment but deliver it to an authorized disposal center or contact
the nearest INTERPUMP GROUP Authorized Assistance Center.
