Safety Instructions

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance
for the first time and follow the safety instructions.
This appliance should only be used as designated and
described in these instructions.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future
reference. Always include these instructions if passing the
appliance on.
Area of use/appropriate use
This appliance is intended solely for household use.
Keep battery operated equipment out of reach of
children
• Do not allow children to use the device without supervision.
• The device is battery-operated. Batteries may endanger life if swallowed.
Therefore, you should keep the device out of reach of children. If a
battery is swallowed, please obtain immediate medical assistance.
General information
• Only use the scales on an even surface.
• Do not store the scales in a vertical position.
• Do not put weights on the scales unless you are measuring them and do
not store items on it.
• Protect the scales from moisture.
• Do not continue using the device if it is damaged as you could injure
yourself.
Handling batteries properly
The device uses two 3 V Li-coin cells size CR2032.
• Warning!
Improper use of battery may lead to explosion. Replace the batteries with
the same or equivalent type only.
• Batteries may endanger life if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, seek
medical assistance immediately.
• Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts in the device
and batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean them.
• Only use new batteries.
• Always change the complete set of batteries.
• Never combine battery types.
