System description

4 Operation
To take a measurement, follow these steps:
1. Hold the durometer above the sample vertically.
2. Press the durometer against the sample until the whole presser foot has contact with the sample.
Avoid shocks.
3. Read out the display (DIN 53505: after 3 s; ISO 868 / ASTM D 2240: after 1 s).
If you use the model which comes with a drag indicator, you can read out the maximum value of the
measurement.
Set the drag indicator back to its "0" position after each measurement by using the knurled screw on the
display
