How to check whether the oil / fat
has reached the right tempera-
ture: Dip a wooden chopstick in
it. If little bubbles form on the
wooden chopstick, the it is at the
right temperature.
4. Place the fondue pot on the centre of
the grill plate (1) .
5. Place the ring for depositing the
fondue forks (5) onto the fondue pot.
6. Skewer the fondue ingredients onto
the fondue forks (3) and dip in the
melted cheese or place in the hot oil /
fat in the fondue pot until they are
cooked (Picture D).
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!

Used cooking oils and cooking fats
are not to be poured down the drain
and must be disposed of in the do-
mestic waste.
■
Never spray cold water onto the hot
parts of the device during or imme-
diately after use to prevent material
damage.
■
Do not spray cleaning agents directly
onto the device.
■
Never clean the grill in the dishwasher.
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents or abrasive sponges
to clean the device. These could dam-
age the surface.
Clean the device and the used accesso-
ries immediately after each use to prevent
germ formation. Do not allow any food
residues to dry on.
1. Make sure that the device has been
disconnected from the mains power
and has completely cooled down!
2. Remove all food residues.

3. Clean the grill (2) if necessary with a
damp cloth or a sponge and a little
detergent if required. Then dry.
4. Clean all other parts with detergent
in warm water or in the dishwasher .
To maintain their quality for as long
as possible, they should preferably be
rinsed by hand.
In the case of stubborn dirt, soak in
warm water and detergent beforehand.
5. Allow all parts to dry completely or
dry them off.
6. Store the device and accessories in
a cool, dry place which is out of the
reach of children and animals.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.

Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
►
Check the fuse of the mains connec-
tion.
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices connected to the same
circuit.
►
Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.
