Raclette and Fondue Grill
L
Although the grill plate (1) has a
non-stick coating, we still recom-
mend that you lightly grease it.
Do not use any cooking spray as
it can attack the non-stick coating!
We recommend that you only
season the ingredients after
preparation as the herbs and spic-
es can burn if they get too hot.
Raclette
Please Note!
■
Always place down the small pans on
heat-resistant surfaces immediately af-
ter use! Do not place any empty small
pans back in or on the heated device.
■
Only ever hold the small pans by the
handles and always allow them to
cool down before they are filled with
new ingredients.
■
Do not slide the small pans too far
into the device to prevent any materi-
al damage to the handles.
1. Prepare all the ingredients.
2. Set up the grill (2) on a table or anoth-
er flat, stable, heat-resistant surface
that is easy to clean.
3. If you have not already done so, place
the grill plate (1) on the grill.
4. Make sure that the temperature con-
trol dial (7) is in the OFF position.
5. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and plug the mains plug into a plug
socket.
6. Turn the temperature control dial
towards MAX to switch on the device.
Allow the device to heat up for a short
while. The control lamp lights up when
heating up .
7. Meanwhile place the ingredients on
the small pans (4). Do not overfill
them to ensure that the food does not
touch the heating element (9) .

tables or meat (Picture C).

require using the temperature control
dial.
11. After use, turn the temperature con-
trol dial to the OFF position and pull
the mains plug out of the plug socket.

cool down and then clean them (see
the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Fondue
Please Note!
■
The fondue pot should never be more
than 2/3 full in order to prevent the
risk of spitting or bubbling over.
■
Only use fats and oils which are suita-
ble for frying.
■
Be careful when handling hot fon-
due forks and the hot fondue pot.
Make sure that the fondue pot is not
knocked over and wear oven gloves!
There is a danger of burns.
■
Make sure that the food which is
dipped in the fondue pot is not too
wet to prevent any splashing or bub-
bling of fat / oil.
1. Chop up all the ingredients for the
fondue.
2. Set up, connect and preheat the
device in the manner described in the
"Raclette" section (steps 2 to 6).
3. In the meantime, prepare a cheese
fondue following the recipe in the
fondue pot (6) on the stove or heat
oil / fat for frying in the fondue pot on
the stove.
