Installing the Network Card
Attachment to PROFIBUS
1. Plug the bus terminal connected to the PROFIBUS cable
into the 9-pin sub D socket connector on the side of the bus
adapter.
2. Lock the bus terminal and bus adapter together using the
securing screws.
3. Make sure that no tensile stress is exerted on the bus adap-
ter by the connected PROFIBUS cable.
Caution
The terminating resistors must only be activated on the station
at the start and the end of the cable.
