SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS
PREPARATION
1. Attach the mountain station to a vertical surface (Fig. 2). (2 mounting screws and
2 anchors are included.) The mountain station should be located approximately 1.3 meters
(4.3 ft.) above the valley station.
2. The upper suspension cable should be 30 cm (1 ft.) shorter than the lower one.
If necessary, shorten the upper cable.
3. Loop the suspension cables over the pulleys on the mountain and valley sta-
tions. The shorter cable goes to the mountain station.
Hint: The rollers on the brackets should face up (Fig. 3). The gondolas should be posi-
tioned with the doors facing outward, so passengers can get on and off.
4. Slide the valley station to tension the setup as much as possible. Then move
the valley station 4 cm (1.6 in.) toward the mountain station to reduce the tension of the
suspension cables. The angle of the suspension cables should be approximately 30°
(parallel to the bottom of the guides on the valley station). Turn the valley station from side
to side until the cables are centered as well as possible in the guides. Attach the valley
station to the surface (Fig. 1). (4 mounting screws are included.)
Attention! Protect the valley station from moisture.
Hint: You can reduce the distance between the stations. However, the suspension
cables always should run at an angle of approximately 30° (Fig. 3).
OPERATION
1. There are three controls on the valley station (Fig. 4):
- Reversing time control (a): Turn the control clockwise to its stop (longest reversing
time). Then turn the control 1/2 turn counterclockwise.
- Travel time control (b): Turn the control counterclockwise to its stop (shortest travel
time). Then turn the control 1/4 turn clockwise.
- Speed control (c): Turn the control clockwise to its stop (top speed).
2. Place the gondolas at the half-way point between the stations, so they are
located next to each other.
3. Connect the plug of the included transformer to the socket on the valley sta-
tion (Fig. 4d). Plug the transformer into a house current outlet.
