II QUICK START GUIDE
BATTERY CHARGING We duly recommend to charge the light
before its first use. To optimize its charging time, please ensure
that USB port or charger carries at least 1A. Estimated charging
time : 2h00. It is not recommended to charge the device with a PC.
BATTERY LEVEL Battery level is shown in two cycles when switching on the light. Battery level is
also shown in one cycle when switching off the light. When the charging cable is connected, the
battery level indication appears. Afterwards the light enters in sleep mode. Pressing the button
or shaking the helmet, while charging shows the battery level.
BRAKE LIGHT SENSOR BHELL2202 w/ S ensor If a sensor is included, it recognizes when the
cyclist is slowing down and changes the light mode to increase visibility. The sensor detects micro
movements and switches to sleep mode when the helmet is not being worn. When the helmet is
picked up again the sensor detects the movement and switches on the latest selected light mode.
SENSOR RESET BHELL2202 w/ S ensor In case the user experiences Brake Light Sensor issues,
a Sensor Reset should be performed. The sensor can be calibrated by pressing and holding the
button for 10 seconds. During this period the helmet needs to be placed on a flat surface and not
moved. When the calibration is done the light blinks and then switches off. Should the Brake Light
Sensor issues persist, please contact your authorized SCOTT Sports dealer.

* Slow flashing extends battery runtime. The light is ON for a shorter amount of time than normal
flashing mode.
