4. General safety rules
Read all these safety instructions before operating this product and save these instructions.
When using air ratchet wrench, basic safety precautions, including the following, should always be
followed to reduce the personal injury and fire. If you have any question, please contact our
authorized representatives. The manufacturer will not accept any responsibility for damage caused by
improper use of this tool.
4.1.
For your own safety, read instruction manual before operating the tool. Learn the tool's application,
and limitations as well as the specific hazards peculiar to it.
4.2.
Danger of explosion! Never use oxygen and combustible gas as an air supply for the tool which
may be ignited by spark and cause fire or explosion. Only use filtered, lubricated, regulated
compressed air.
4.3.
Never use gasoline or other flammable liquids to clean the tool. Vapor in the tool will be ignited by
spark and cause the tool to explode.
4.4.
Keep work area clean! The work area on which the machine is used must be cleaned up. Disorder
is a potential cause of accidents. All onlookers and children should be kept away from the working
area.
4.5.
Consider the working area environment! Do not expose air tools to rain. Do not use air tools in
damp or wet locations. Keep the work area well lit. Do not use power tools in the presence of
flammable liquids or gases.
4.6.
Store unused air tools safely! When not in use, keep tools in a dry place, either locked up or in a
high place, out of the reach of children.
4.7.
Use the right air tool for the job! Do not force small air tools to do the job of a heavy-duty tool. Do
not use air tool for purpose of which was not intended.
4.8.
Never force air tool! It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which was intended.
4.9.
Use safety goggles and ear protector. Always wear approved safety goggles if work is dusty.
Always wear ear protector at environment noise level > 85dB(A) due to risk of impaired hearing.
4.10.
Dress properly! Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. They can be caught in moving parts.
Rubber gloves and nonskid footwear are recommended when working outdoors. Wear protective
hair covering to contain long hair.
4.11.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
4.12.
Secure workpiece! Use clamps or a vice to hold workpiece. It is safer than using your hand and
free both hands to operate the air tools.
4.13.
Disconnect air tool. When not use, before performing service or changing accessories, please
disconnect tool.
4.14.
Maintain tools with care! Keep tools clean and oiled for best and safest performance. Follow
instructions for lubricating and changing accessories. Wiping or cleaning rags and other flammable
waste materials must be placed in a tightly closed metal container and disposed of later in the
proper fashion. Keep handles dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
4.15.
Avoid unintentional starting! Do not carry plugged-in air tool with your finger on the switch trigger.
Be sure switch is in the "OFF" position when connecting to air supply.
4.16.
Stay alert! Watch what you are doing. Use common sense, even unsafe situation or unbalanced
positions, particularly when you are tired.
4.17.
Repairs This air ratchet wrench comply with the relevant safety regulations. Repairs should only be
carried out by an authorized service facility using original spare parts. Otherwise this may result in
considerable danger to the user.
Warning risk of injury
Do not use air tools in potentially explosive atmospheres such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, cleaning solvents or gases. Poor quality or damaged tools such as sockets can fly apart
during operation, propelling particles throughout the work area. Keep hands away from moving parts
such as nut runner socket and running tools. Uncontrolled movement of air hose may occur when it
break up or loosen. Unexpected direction of inserted tool movement can cause a hazardous situation.
The tool or inserted tool such as socket may crush by natural worn material and the workpiece.
Never wear loose fitting clothes, or apparel which contains loose straps or ties, etc. which being
caught in the rotating spindle of the air tools.
