Stereo-Equalizer-Pre-
Amplifier Lenco VV 7
to the input terminals of the pre-amplifier, which Is
marked as follows:
In the same way the screened cable to the Input of
the main amplifier should be soldered to the output
terminals on the pre-amplifier. These are marked
in the same way as the input terminals. Care must
be taken that the earth connection of the plckup
arm Is correctiy joined to the base plate.
Description
In the Lenco W 7 Stereo-Equalizer-Pre-Amplifier,
a two channel 2-stage, extremely low-noise silicon
transistor pre-amplifier is coupled to Its own com-
mon mains power supply unit in a very small space.
The W 7 is properly shielded against both electro-
static as well as magnetic fields, and is particu-
larly suitable for installation into Record Players.
The mounting and connection is very simple.

Mounting
Lenco Record Player Units have two tapped holes
In the base plate for fixing of the W 7. The pre-
amplifier is screwed on to the base plate via the
two fixing brackets in such a way that the end
with the mains connections is nearest to the motor
of the record player. If the W 7 is built Into Record
Players of other manufacture or Into amplifiers,
care should be taken that the Unit Is as far from
the motor or the mains transformer as possible
and that the ambient temperature of 60°C Is not
exceeded.
Electrical connection
The mains connections on the pre-amplifier should
be connected to the corresponding mains ter-
minals on the motor of the record player or the
mains transformer In the amplifier. The flexible
screened lead from the pick-up should be soldered
