d) How it works
In order to preserve battery power, the tag automatically goes into
sleep mode when not in use.
• After having paired the tag with your mobile device and
configured it, wake it up by touching the touch sensor (2). The
green operation indicator light (3) lights up briefly.
It is important that you follow the instructions given in the in-app
help menu in regards to the detection and setting up of events.
If the tag detects a registered event, it will push a notification for
this event to the Bluetooth address of every registered mobile
device. If a mobile device is out of range (>30 m) or turned off then
the notification will not be received on the mobile device. However,
every event is stored on the tag and can be retrieved through the
app when the mobile device is back in range.
Updating tag firmware
In order to ensure compatibility between app and tag, keep
both up-to-date at all times.
After installing an app update, always check if the tag firmware
needs to be updated as well. Tag firmware updates are
indicated in the app.
1.
Make sure the battery has sufficient charge. Replace it by a
new one before the firmware update, if necessary.
2.
Open the app.
3.
Press
> select tag > press
4.
Press <Uploading Firmware
5.
Press <START>. The red firmware update indicator light (3)
lights up and the firmware starts to update.
6.
After updating you may use the tag again as usual.
Remark: In case the tag does not function properly after a
firmware update, remove and insert the battery again.
