Default settings
After inserting the battery (see to change the battery) all
segments of the display unit will be briefly visible and a
beep signal will sound. Afterwards the clock will switch to
radio controlled time reception mode. Within 30 seconds
you will see a flashing radio tower icon. The alarm clock
is now ready for operation and will start an automatic
search for the radio controlled time signal. This might

Background Lighting
The background lighting will automatically switch on
when any buttons are activated and equally switch off
automatically after about 2 seconds. While a button is
pressed and held down, the background lighting will
remain on until the button has been released.
To change the battery
Open the cover of the battery compartment by pressing
on the ribbed marking with your thumb or index finger
and pushing the cover downwards while applying gentle
pressure.
Pay attention to polarization – see marking in battery
compartment - and insert the Mignon Battery (AA, IEC
LR 6) into the battery compartment.
Seal the battery compartment cover after inserting the
batteries into the battery compartment.
Hint:
To achieve optimum display accuracy, change batteries
at least once a year or, at the latest, when the display
begins to become fainter or fuzzy. Remove weak batter-
ies at once, to prevent leaking and possible damages
resulting from it. Only use batteries of the type stated.
