9. Keep warm when cooking is completed, the rice cooker will
automaticallygo into the warm-mode.At this time, the "warm" light
will illuminate. NOTE: Do not warm rice for more than 12 hours. It is
recommendedto consumethe rice within a twelve-hourperiod. If the
warm mode is not desired, simply unplug the rice cooker from thewall.
Do not touch the base unit or inner pot until they have cooled down
completely.
I O.Allow the rice cooker to cool completely before cleaning.
I I . When the rice cooker is not being used, please keep it unplugged.
Steam
Theappliance comeswith a grate for steaming of vegetables.Placethe
grate at the bottomof the cooking pot. Add somewater and place the
vegetableson the grate. Pickthe vegetablesup when you have reached
the desired result.
Cooking rice (White rice and whole grain)
I . Usethe 177 ml measuringcup that comesincluded with your cooker
to add desired amount of rice.
2. For best result, pour desired amountof rice into a separate
container. Wash and rinse the rice until the rinse water is clear.
3. Takethe inner pot out of the rice cooker. Placethe washed rice into
the inner pot and add appropriate amount of water. (Usethe markings
at the inside of the inner pot to match the amountof water neededto
produce desired cups of rice. Forexample, 4 cups of dry rice, requires
water to be filled to the 4th mark located at the inside of the inner pot)
4. Placecooking pot securelyinto the base and put on the lid. NOTE:
Make surebottomof cooking pot is not bentor warped, or it will not
conduct heatcorrectly.
5. The rice cooker control panel lights will flash for 15 secondsbefore it
shutsoff if not any program is selected.If this happens press"WARM"
one more time to activate the unit again.
