• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter.
• Do not place the appliance near a gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven.
• Never usethe inner Poton a gas or electriccooktop or on an open
flame.
• Handle hot food, water, or other hot liquids in the rice cooker with
extreme caution.
• Do not usethe appliance for anything other than its intended use.
• Do not usesteelwool or any metallic scouring pad to clean the
electrical pin terminals on eitherthe appliance or cord set. Metal slivers
can reduce electrical spacing and cause a shock hazard.
• To reducethe risk of electrical shock, only cook food in the removable
pot. Do not pour food or liquid into the outer pan.
