- Larger products (over 25 cm) can be returned to distributors
on a one-for-one basis, meaning the distributor is required to
accept the product only in exchange for the purchase of a new
equivalent product.
Separate collection and subsequent processing for recycling,
treatment, and environmentally friendly disposal help avoid
potentially harmful effects on the environment and human
health while facilitating the reuse/recycling of materials
contained in the products. Users who unlawfully dispose of
products are subject to penalties under applicable legislation.
F. "RACE USE ONLY" DISCLAIMER
Due to the specific operational and environmental conditions in
which "Race Use Only" products are used during competitions,
these products may be subject to extreme conditions that
exceed the design and control limits set by ATHENA.
ATHENA assumes no liability for the use of "Race Use Only"
products under extreme conditions during competitions, and no
"product liability" will apply in such cases.
"Race Use Only" products are designed and manufactured for
competitive sports use and are not intended for use on public
roads. Any tampering or alteration of "Race Use Only" products
may compromise their safety. ATHENA assumes no liability for
any failure by the customer to follow ATHENA's instructions
and/or for improper or incorrect installation of such products on
vehicles and/or failure to maintain them properly. In such cases,
no "product liability" will apply.
