Mise en service
Afin d'assurer une utilisation cor-
recte, lisez attentivement et com-
plètement, avant utilisation, le
présent mode d'emploi y compris
les précautions d'emploi.
• Otez le couvercle de protection (7).
• Allumez le détecteur de gaz en appuyant sur
l'interrupteur Marche/Arrêt (5) de sorte qu'il
soit mis en position « ON ».
• L'appareil émet un court bip sonore. Le
voyant rouge (2) s'allume en même temps,
puis le voyant vert (3) s'allume. Au cas où la
DEL verte ne s'allumerait pas, il faut changer
les piles.
Si l'appareil est allumé peu après l'avoir
éteint, il est possible que la procédure d'allu-
mage soit différente de celle décrite ci-des-
sus, à savoir le bip sonore ne retentit pas ou

(4) STATIC display LED
This LED shines as soon as the device recognis-
es a static discharge.
(5) Circuit breaker/circuit closer (ON/OFF)
This switches the device on and off. In the "ON"
position the device is switched on and in the
"OFF" position the device is switched off.
(6) Carrier sling
The carrier sling is intended to prevent acciden-
tal slipping of the gas-leak detector. Fasten the
carrier loop to the respective fastening eyelets at
the end of the detector.
(7) Cover
The cover protects the sensitive gas sensor from
damage. Remove the cover before operation and
replace it when you have finished operating the
detector.
(8) Battery chamber
The battery chamber serves to hold the two
