3. Explanation of Symbols

The symbol with a lightning bolt in a triangle is used where there is a health hazard, e.g. from
electric shock.
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important notes in these operating instructions that
must be strictly observed.
The „arrow" symbol indicates that special advice and notes on operation are provided here.

4. Intended Use

The clear water pump is intended for private use, e.g. in a hobby garden. The product is not intended for
operation of irrigation or irrigation systems in commerce, industry or public areas (e.g. garden facilities).
Only clear, clean fresh water is admissible as conveyed liquid. The conveyed liquid must not be hotter than
+35 °C.
The clear water pump is used, e.g., recirculate/drain containers (rain water cistern), water supply of sui-
table devices in the garden via a house well (ground water) or pumping off water, e.g. from a swimming
pool.
A, external float switch activates the clear water pump automatically when the water level rises. The float
switch can, however, be attached to the clear water pump side if not in use.
These operating instructions must be passed on to any person who uses the clear water pump. The clear
water pump must only be used if these operating instructions have been read and understood. The safety
notes and all other information in these operating instructions always have to be observed.
Any use other than that described above can damage the product and may involve additional risks such as
short circuit, fire, electric shock, etc. No part of this product must be modified or converted!
