Commissioning

This section describes how to commission the device. This
includes the connection of the device, the logging onto the con-
figuration manager and an initial configuration.
Default Settings when the Equipment is Supplied
– Access data for the Configuration Manager:
User name: admin
Password: admin
(password before firmware version 14A: ip6000)
– Network settings:
DCHP enabled
– Network addresses (If no DHCP Server is available in the
network):
IP address: 192.168.0.1
Network mask: 255.255.255.0

Connecting the IP DECT Server

Requirements
– Network cable
Insert one of the network cable's plugs in the RJ45 socket on

the front of the device.
Insert the plug on the other end of the network cable into a

network socket with PoE power.
The LED on the front cover flashes red followed by a
steady green if the IP DECT Server has started.

Opening the Configuration Manager

Requirements
– Network connection between the PC and the IP DECT
Server
– Knowledge of the IP DECT Server's IP address
Note:
If a DHCP Server is set up in the local network, the IP DECT
Server will get its IP address from this DHCP server. You can
