4 | Using the device

Before use:
•
Important ! Before connecting the appliance to a power outlet for
the first time, leave it upright for at least 24 hours to allow the
refrigerant to settle.
•
Remove the shipping packaging, tape, etc. and leave the doors open.
Ventilate the unit for a while.
•
The unit will be cleaned before shipping, but please clean the inside
of the compartment after delivery.
•
Connect the power supply, plug the device into the socket and make
sure the voltage is correct.
•
Allow the unit to run for approximately 1 hour to cool the
compartment before placing items in the cooler.
Wait 5 minutes or more before turning the device back on:
•
Restarting the unit immediately after it has been turned off may
cause fuses to blow, the circuit breaker to trip, the compressor to
overload, and/or other damage to occur.
Caution : Do not use force on parts such as
the condenser or the door. The metal rails
on the bottom of this refrigerator may have
sharp edges, so always unpack the
appliance carefully and handle it with care.
Do not drag the appliance, but place it
carefully to avoid scratching the floor.
space requirements
•
Position the appliance so that there
is enough space to open the door.
•
Make sure that air can circulate
freely around the back of the
cabinet as this is necessary to cool
the compressor and condenser. Leave at least 100mm of free space
at the back and 50mm at the sides of the unit.
leveling
•
The appliance must be level to function properly. If the appliance is
not level, the doors and magnetic seals will not align properly.
