3. After inserting the batteries, the LCD display
appears, a short signal tone sounds and the search
for the radio signal, indicated by a flashing radio
tower symbol , begins automatically. This process
can take up to 7 minutes and no other settings are
possible during this time. When the radio signal is
received, the time and date are set automatically.
