1.1 SAFETY SIGNAL SYMBOL
DANGER
• Before the electrical connection, use opaque material to cover the PV modules or disconnect the PV string DC
switch. PV arrays will produce dangerous voltage if they are exposed to direct sunlight.
• The high voltage of the inverter may be harmful to health! Only certified engineers should operate this product.
• Before carrying out any maintenance or repair work, first turn OFF the AC circuit breaker between the inverter and
electrical grid first, then turn OFF the DC switch, and wait for at least 5 minutes.
WARNING
• Touching the mains supply or the terminal conductors can lead to lethal electric shock or fire! Do not touch
non-insulated cable ends, DC conductors and any live components of the inverter.
• Ensure that the maximum output voltage of the PV array (open circuit voltage after correction for low temperature)
does not exceed the maximum input voltage of the inverter. If this causes damage to the inverter or other losses,
SOFARSOLAR reserves the right not to provide warranty cover and not to bear joint and several liabilities.
CAUTION
• The product can get hot during operation. Avoid contact during operation. Prior to performing any work on the
product, allow the product to cool down sufficiently.
NOTICE
• Always obtain permission from the local power utility company before connecting to the grid, and the connection
must be done by certified electrical engineers.
• PV array should be grounded in accordance to the requirements of the local power utility company.
• Remedy all faults before restoring inverter operation. If any repair work is required, please contact the local
authorised service centre.
• Do not disassemble the internal components of the inverter without permission. SOFARSOLAR will not assume
warranty or joint and several liability for any damage caused by this.
