Repair or replace damaged parts, including decals.
1.
Check all safety devices before each use.
2.
Engine, blade and traction drive (self-propelled
model) are designed to stop when the engine kill
control bar is released. Ensure the engine kill con-
trol bar and brake function properly before each use
of the mower.
Installing the Starter Rope
1. Pull the starter rope through the rope guide on the
handle. To make the rope easierto loop, squeeze
the control bar on the handle to release the blade
brake.
